Hardware Engineering Technician (Shift) (Semiconductor)

Location: Singapore, SGP; Science Park II, moving to Tampines from April 2027

What you will do

• Support tool owners in planning daily preventive and remedial maintenance activities.
• Perform scheduled maintenance, wet cleans, start-ups, retrofits, and continuous improvement projects on semiconductor systems.
• Troubleshoot process variations and system problems, escalating equipment downtime when required.
• Track equipment performance, plan uptime improvements, and implement productivity initiatives.
• Provide technical support to less experienced personnel and work with process staff on system operation and maintenance.

Requirements

• ITE qualification, diploma in engineering, or relevant studies.
• Basic understanding of semiconductor processes and equipment.
• Ability to commit to rotating shifts: Monday to Friday, either 9:00–18:00 or 14:00–23:00, with 12-hour shifts planned for the future.
• Working knowledge of statistical process control, quality improvement methods, risk assessment, and semiconductor terminology is preferred.
• Experience handling hirify.global equipment is an advantage.
