Machine Operator I (6:00am to 6:00pm) A Shift (Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite manufacturing facility; 6:00am–6:00pm A shift.

Salary: $22.50–$23.75 per hour, plus shift differential.

What you will do

• Set up and operate one or two manufacturing machines of moderate complexity.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely as required.
• Inspect work for defects before passing it to the next operation.
• Complete production and quality documentation.
• Dispose of hazardous chemicals properly and maintain a safe, clean work area.
• Support team performance by training others on machine operator tasks when needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of work experience and skill development.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions and communicate effectively with a supervisor.
• Ability to operate a variety of machinery and safely use small hand and power tools.
• Ability to perform medium-to-heavy physical work, including continuous standing and walking, frequent lifting, bending, squatting, and kneeling.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds occasionally with assistance and up to 40 pounds frequently.
• Six or more months of manufacturing experience is preferred.
