Machine Operator I (Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite manufacturing facility; 6:00pm–6:00am D shift

Salary: $22.50–$23.75 per hour plus shift differential

What you will do

• Set up and operate one or two manufacturing machines of moderate complexity.
• Use hand and power tools while following operating and safety procedures.
• Inspect work for defects before transferring it to the next operation.
• Dispose of hazardous chemicals correctly and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Complete production and quality documentation.
• Train other employees on machine operator tasks as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of work experience and skill development.
• Ability to safely use small hand and power tools and operate a variety of machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions and communicate effectively with a supervisor.
• Ability to meet medium-to-heavy physical demands, including continuous standing and walking, frequent lifting and bending, and lifting up to 75 pounds occasionally with assistance.
• Six or more months of manufacturing experience is preferred.
