Supply Chain Team Lead (2nd Shift)

Location: Hodges, South Carolina, United States. Onsite, second shift, Monday–Friday, 2:30 p.m.–11:00 p.m. Relocation assistance is not available.

Salary: $20.75–$26.42 per hour, plus a second-shift premium.

hirify.global designs and manufactures large diesel and natural gas engines, engine components, and powertrains through its Large Power Systems Division.

What you will do

• Lead team members, coordinate workflow, delegate daily priorities, and support change management.
• Coordinate logistics and external carriers for expedited shipments and communicate customer needs to the logistics team.
• Manage inventory zones by targeting aged inventory, leading reconciliations, and investigating root causes.
• Lead multifunctional meetings, problem-solving events, and customer defect investigations to improve performance.
• Track safety, quality, velocity, and cost metrics while maintaining training flexibility across the team.
• Perform warehouse and material-handling duties as required, including occasional operation of reach trucks, forklifts, and overhead cranes.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of supply chain operations.
• Strong written and verbal communication, mathematical, and analytical skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access.
• Good attendance and the ability to maintain accurate, complete records.
• Ability to work overtime when required and follow safety policies and PPE requirements.
• Ability to occasionally lift parts weighing up to 35 pounds individually or 70 pounds as a team lift, with occasional bending, reaching, and squatting.

Nice to have

• Previous leadership experience in a manufacturing or logistics operation.
• Demonstrated Lean Manufacturing experience.
