Maintenance Technician II

Location: The Grove at Pullman, Pullman, Washington, United States; work is performed at the assigned property.

Salary: $23–$26 USD per hour, plus bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Respond to maintenance and repair service requests and complete them promptly.
• Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and routine repairs across buildings, apartments, and property features.
• Monitor and test life-safety systems, including fire pumps, alarms, sprinklers, smoke detectors, CO2 alarms, emergency lighting, and egress systems.
• Prepare apartments for turnovers and maintain supplies, keys, security systems, and access protocols.
• Coordinate vendor deliveries, contractor schedules, and daily maintenance assignments with management.
• Support emergency and disaster preparedness and provide on-call coverage, including after-hours and weekend emergencies.

Requirements

• High school/GED or trade school diploma, plus 3–5 years of full-time general maintenance experience or equivalent experience.
• HVAC certification and EPA 608 certification covering Core and Types I, II, and III.
• Certified Pool Operator certification, or willingness to obtain it within six months.
• Knowledge of key management, security, safety procedures, CMMS, Entrata, building automation, and digital control systems.
• Valid driver’s license, clear communication skills, dependable attendance, and flexibility for after-hours and weekend emergencies.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available. Ability to stand for at least eight hours, lift up to 100 pounds, and travel periodically is required.
