Category Manager (Technology)

Location: Columbus, Ohio, United States

Salary: $117,000–$127,000 per year. Additional compensation range: $116,255–$151,132.50.

What you will do

• Lead strategic sourcing, contracting, and supplier management for enterprise software, SaaS, digital solutions, and technology services.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for high-spend, high-impact, and complex technology categories.
• Evaluate, negotiate, execute, and maintain strategic sourcing agreements.
• Identify cost-reduction opportunities and deliver direct and indirect total cost of ownership savings.
• Partner with business leaders, technology teams, Supply Chain, Procurement, and operating companies to align investments with business objectives.
• Track program metrics, report progress toward savings goals, and manage supplier governance and relationships.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Fleet, or a related area.
• Experience working with technology and professional services suppliers.
• Experience partnering with business and technology leaders to develop sourcing strategies and manage technology investments.
• Experience managing IT and OT categories in a large, multi-state organization.
• Strong change management, stakeholder engagement, supplier relationship, governance, and category planning skills.
