hirify.global manufactures construction and mining equipment, engines, industrial gas turbines, and diesel-electric locomotives, with the Stafford facility focused on designing, developing, and manufacturing engines.

What you will do

• Support operational efficiency and process and facility improvement projects.
• Develop and install control processes that maintain repeatability and compliance.
• Reconfigure assets and manufacturing processes to improve flow, efficiency, and product quality.
• Manage individual projects or contribute to major cross-functional initiatives.
• Investigate innovative technologies and solutions for production processes.
• Work on assembly, testing, painting, engine finishing, logistics, and maintenance processes using hirify.global Production System principles.

Requirements

• Must be able to complete a 12-month industrial placement beginning in July 2027.
• Must be in the penultimate year of study or enrolled in an integrated master’s programme.
• Be on track to achieve at least a 2:2 honours degree in manufacturing, mechanical, automotive, aerospace, or electrical and electronics engineering.
• Demonstrate problem-solving ability, motivation, adaptability, willingness to learn, and an open-minded approach.
• Be available to work onsite in Stafford five days a week.

Hiring process

• Attend an in-person Assessment Centre and interview at the Stafford facility, anticipated on 1 December 2026.
• Successful candidates begin the placement on 5 July 2027.
