Senior Maintenance Supervisor (Chemical Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead site maintenance activities and manage Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation Technicians.
• Promote high standards of safety, health, and environmental performance across maintenance and construction work.
• Plan and prioritize routine maintenance, breakdown recovery, shutdowns, and turnaround activities with Operations, Engineering, SHE, and Purchasing.
• Improve asset reliability and Overall Equipment Effectiveness through FMEA, RCM, condition monitoring, root cause analysis, and preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Manage contractors, suppliers, critical spares, inspection registers, workshops, and maintenance documentation.
• Support capital projects, asset improvement programs, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• HNC or above in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Significant maintenance and reliability experience in a large process industry or manufacturing environment; chemical manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Experience leading people in a manufacturing, maintenance, or engineering environment.
• Practical knowledge of rotating and static equipment, maintenance reliability tools, CMMS, ERP, and Microsoft systems.
• Knowledge of SHE and process safety requirements, including Pressure Systems, PUWER, LOLER, DSEAR, COSHH, confined spaces, risk assessments, permits, and Mechanical Integrity.
• NEBOSH General Certificate, project management experience, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, and maintenance improvement experience are preferred.
