Principal Energy Solutions Engineer (Energy Systems)

Location: Kennett Square, Pennsylvania, United States; onsite five days per week. Domestic relocation assistance is available. Domestic travel of up to 25–40% is required.

Salary: $128,470–$192,710 per year.

What you will do

• Provide expert guidance on energy systems and distributed energy resource project development.
• Lead front-end project engineering, conceptual electrical design, and detailed cost estimates.
• Develop solutions using solar PV, energy storage, natural gas generation, combined heat and power, renewable fuels, and hydrogen.
• Oversee the design, procurement, and installation of turnkey energy solutions, including controls and integrated switchgear.
• Coordinate with third-party engineering firms, contractors, project stakeholders, and customers through design, construction, and commissioning.
• Lead stakeholder-facing discussions and project reviews supporting solution sales and execution.

Requirements

• Expert understanding of energy and distributed energy resource project development.
• Experience with stakeholder communication, preliminary electrical design, problem solving, technical solution development, and project management.
• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or a relevant field.
• Ability to work onsite in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania, five days per week.
• Visa sponsorship is not available.
• Ability to travel domestically up to 25–40%.
