Cost Estimator, Senior

Location: Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, with a remote possibility. Travel: 0–10%.

What you will do

• Develop cost estimates for all phases of F-15 aircraft acquisition programs, from inception through disposal.
• Perform task definition, cost data research, collection, analysis, review, presentation, and documentation.
• Produce analogy, grassroots, and parametric estimates for annual and biennial budgets, life-cycle costs, source selection, and economic analyses.
• Verify inputs to cost-estimating systems and help maintain financial databases such as REMIS through reconciliation and basis-of-estimate updates.
• Develop production, modification, what-if, should-cost, will-cost, CAIV, and RTOC estimates for program planning and budget submissions.
• Evaluate contractor and subcontractor cost proposals, analyze EVM performance data, and support acquisition strategies, WBSs, SOWs, SORAs, and related planning documents.

Requirements

• Experience with Automated Cost Estimating Integrated Tools, PRICE TruePlanning, Constructive Cost Model, Oracle Crystal Ball, AFTOC, REMIS, or comparable estimating systems.
• Strong understanding of parametric analysis, cost estimating, data research, analogous technical and programmatic data, and realistic government cost estimates.
• One of the following: BS plus 12 years of experience including 5 years in the DoD; MS plus 10 years including 5 years in the DoD; or 15 years of directly related experience including 8 years in the DoD.
• Ability to support the F-15 Division independently or in coordination with government personnel.
• SECRET clearance required.

• Experience overseeing junior and journeyman contractor personnel.
• Comprehensive knowledge of applicable standards, procedures, and practices.
