Assembly and Test Specialist (Manufacturing) - 2nd/3rd Shifts - Supplemental

Location: Pontiac, Illinois, United States; onsite manufacturing role

Salary: Starting at $23.22 per hour, plus a $1.00 per hour night-shift premium.

Designs and manufactures large diesel and natural gas engines, engine components, and powertrains.

What you will do

• Assemble, test, rework, and repair fuel injectors and fuel pumps using hand and pneumatic tools.
• Assemble exhaust systems and PETU tanks with pumps, wiring harnesses, insulation, and related components.
• Operate test machines throughout various manufacturing stages.
• Disassemble and reassemble complex components to repair or replace damaged injector parts.
• Continuously improve process efficiency while following standard manufacturing procedures.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of experience in manufacturing or engine maintenance.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, schematics, standard work, and blueprints.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
• Availability for 2nd shift, Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM, or 3rd shift, Sunday–Thursday, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM.
