Staff Design & Quality Control Engineer (High-Speed Hardware)

What you will do

• Design custom high-speed hardware from customer specification discussions through design execution.
• Select core and peripheral components in collaboration with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Evaluate supplier performance, conduct supplier audits, and improve incoming material quality.
• Develop inspection and testing procedures for incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods.
• Maintain inspection reports, non-conformance reports, corrective action logs, and quality performance reports.
• Monitor manufacturing processes, support audits and customer quality investigations, and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 8+ years of work experience, including at least 3 years in high-speed hardware design for PCBA.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Strong understanding of high-speed multigigabit or RF design requirements.
• Experience with Altium schematic and PCB design tools.
• Strong knowledge of quality control methods, including SPC, MSA, FMEA, Control Plans, Root Cause Analysis, and 8D.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, PCB assembly drawings, and technical specifications, with strong verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of AS9100 or other industry-specific quality standards.
