Construction Tool Install Engineer (Contract)

What you will do

• Manage semiconductor manufacturing tools, equipment, kits, and deliveries against the Tool Install schedule.
• Serve as the primary equipment owner from pre-design through SL2 Signoff and represent the site in equipment-related forums.
• Coordinate factory owners, suppliers, trade contractors, and cross-functional stakeholders through detailed execution planning and milestone meetings.
• Forecast equipment workload and funding requirements, maintain purchase orders and commitments, and manage change-order requests.
• Drive systems configuration, part-number genealogy, equipment requirements, and delivery accuracy.
• Lead problem resolution, continuous improvement, stakeholder training, and safety execution across construction sites and office environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, or a related technical field with at least 1 year of experience in project or program management, construction, or tool installation; experience may include internships, academic projects, coursework, or hands-on training.
• A master’s degree in engineering, architecture, or a related technical field may also qualify.
• Strong communication, leadership, planning, organization, collaboration, adaptability, and decisive problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work on-site in Hillsboro, Oregon, United States.

Nice to have

• At least 2 years of experience installing and demolishing process tool equipment.
• Professional Project Manager (PMP), Lean, or Six Sigma certification.
