Mechanical Engineer (Semiconductor Equipment)

Location: Santa Clara, California, United States. Onsite role with approximately 10% travel; relocation eligible.

Salary: $100,000–$136,500 per year

What you will do

• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex mechanical problems with limited supervision.
• Design and modify mechanical layouts, schematics, drawings, specifications, tooling, and fixtures.
• Perform engineering analysis and coordinate, execute, and document engineering tests.
• Develop mechanical product specifications, support suppliers, and technically lead or execute projects.
• Enable the handling, assembly, and disassembly of components and assemblies while establishing operational standards.
• Communicate complex technical information and build consensus across stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an applicable engineering field.
• 4–7 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with CAD software, thermodynamics, sheet metal design, material selection, and manufacturing methods.
• Knowledge of GD&T, flow analysis, and/or Design for Excellence principles.
• Ability to work onsite in Santa Clara, California, with approximately 10% travel.
