CAD Technician

Location: On-site in Newark, Ohio, United States. Relocation assistance is not available, and work authorization in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship is required.

Salary: $28–$35 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.

What you will do

• Import topographic surveys and create 3D surface models.
• Create and revise design exhibits and prepare initial drafts of proposed improvements under the direction of a Project Engineer or Project Manager.
• Set up plan sheets and complete plan-production work.
• Apply mark-up corrections accurately and on schedule.
• Support private site development, public utility, roadway, and structural-plan projects.

Requirements

• Professional experience with CAD software.
• Associate degree in a civil-engineering-related field.
• Ability to work independently and seek guidance when needed.
• Ability to work on-site in Newark, Ohio.
• Authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future.
• Four or more years of site-design and drafting experience is strongly preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience with MicroStation and GEOPAK.
