Bridge CAD Technician

What you will do

• Review construction plans, technical drawings, and figures for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with design standards.
• Convert conceptual sketches, redlines, and markups into high-quality CAD drawings for project and client use.
• Develop preliminary and final engineering plan sets for municipal and transportation bridge projects.
• Coordinate design elements with engineers, designers, project managers, and other drafters, resolving discrepancies across disciplines.
• Prepare technical reports, design documentation, permitting materials, and other project deliverables.
• Incorporate revisions and feedback while maintaining drawing integrity, quality, and project schedules.

Requirements

• 2+ years of related bridge CAD experience; 4+ years of experience are listed for the position.
• Experience with some or all of AutoCAD, OpenBridge Modeler, MicroStation, and OpenRoads Designer.
• Civil 3D experience is preferred.
• Work onsite in Jacksonville, Florida.
• Ability to perform primarily office-based work involving prolonged sitting, repetitive motions, and standard computer equipment.
