Autonomy Validation Specialist (AI)

Location: Mossville, Illinois, United States; onsite five days a week. Up to 20% travel is required. Domestic relocation assistance is available. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $128,470–$208,770 per year

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end system integration and validation activities for autonomous platforms.
• Create and maintain test plans, assign execution across multiple test teams, and track progress.
• Manage validation risks, drive issue resolution, and maintain dashboards and status metrics.
• Support bench design, build, and commissioning activities in laboratory environments.
• Coordinate with Systems, Product, test track, and proving grounds teams on requirements and NPI timelines.
• Participate in escape retrospectives and drive corrective and preventive actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Knowledge of software product testing, test strategy, technical troubleshooting, and programming for debugging software algorithms.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, JIRA, Confluence, or similar application lifecycle management tools.
• Experience with SIL, MIL, and/or HIL concepts and managing complex validation efforts across multiple teams and environments.
• Knowledge of mining technology, regulatory considerations, and industry trends.
• Must work full-time onsite at the Mossville, Illinois office; visa sponsorship is unavailable.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience with complex autonomous vehicle systems, model-based simulation, agile testing, and the V-model for verification and validation.
• Experience with electrical systems, harnesses, interfaces, sensors, advanced data analysis, and systems analysis.
• Knowledge of AI concepts, technologies, and methodologies applied to industry products.
