Senior Staff TLM, Hardware Test Infrastructure

Location: Hybrid, with at least 3 days per week in one of hirify.global's US offices: Bozeman, MT; Coppell, TX; Livonia, MI; Louisville, CO; Mountain View, CA; Pittsburgh, PA; San Francisco, CA; or Seattle, WA.

Salary: $189,000–$274,000 per year, plus annual bonus, equity compensation, and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end reliability test execution for autonomous vehicle hardware across more than 10 modules.
• Manage four internal laboratories across two sites, external testing facilities, and multiple work shifts.
• Direct engineers, technicians, and contractors while managing daily laboratory operations and performance.
• Establish standard operating procedures, safety protocols, equipment calibration, and maintenance schedules.
• Collaborate with facilities, supply chain, purchasing, and hardware design teams on capacity planning, test rack design, and component procurement.
• Support root cause corrective action for component failures identified during testing.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of hardware design principles, reliability testing methods, and failure analysis.
• Hands-on experience with automated test equipment design, maintenance, troubleshooting, and purchasing.
• Experience managing people and laboratory operations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to work from one of hirify.global's listed US offices at least 3 days per week.
• Authorization to work lawfully in the United States is required; visa sponsorship requirements are addressed during application.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of automotive safety standards such as ISO 26262 and ISO 16750.
• Experience with automotive electronics, ECUs, or compute hardware, including thermal, power, and connector reliability.
• Experience working with external reliability and environmental laboratories in the Bay Area and elsewhere.
