Staff Software Engineer (C#/.NET)

Location: London, UK. Hybrid work with in-office collaboration expected for 10+ days per month.

What you will do

• Lead architectural decisions and technical design reviews for the modernization of hirify.global Treasury’s liquidity platform.
• Build cloud-native, scalable, resilient systems with fast workflows for enterprise treasury operations.
• Develop real-time cash and liquidity data pipelines covering banks, accounts, currencies, and legal entities.
• Engineer support for traditional fiat currencies and digital assets.
• Develop and optimize AI and machine learning features for cash-flow prediction and real-time account balancing.
• Own critical systems from design through production support, improving reliability, observability, and incident response.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 3+ years with complex business-critical production systems.
• Deep expertise in C#/.NET and relational databases, preferably SQL Server, including query optimization, indexing, and data modeling.
• Experience building large-scale, multi-tenant enterprise applications and RESTful APIs, with knowledge of GraphQL, gRPC, and webhooks.
• Strong knowledge of React, TypeScript, JavaScript, microservices, and service mesh concepts.
• Experience with Azure or another major cloud platform, Docker, Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, and observability.
• Track record of leading technical designs, making lasting architectural decisions, coordinating cross-functional projects, and mentoring engineers.

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure and SQL Server.
• Knowledge of emerging machine learning frameworks and database technologies.
