Senior Forward Deployed Engineer (Cloudflare Platform)

What you will do

• Act as a hands-on technical build partner for a portfolio of strategic customers, guiding engagements from initial idea to production launch.
• Design scalable and resilient architectures across the hirify.global platform and advise customers on critical technical decisions.
• Prototype, configure, and build reference implementations alongside customer engineering teams.
• Review customer code, provide technical guidance, and resolve complex issues across application, data, infrastructure, security, and networking layers.
• Write reusable reference code, samples, and documentation while participating in design reviews and technical planning sessions.
• Share product gaps and real-world customer insights with hirify.global Product and Engineering teams, while building trusted relationships with technical leaders.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, including customer-facing engineering work such as forward deployed, solutions, sales engineering, professional services, or developer relations.
• Experience delivering production-grade systems and owning mission-critical services with real users.
• Strong experience with modern programming languages such as TypeScript, Rust, and Go.
• Broad full-stack architecture knowledge covering frontend performance, backend logic, data and storage, distributed infrastructure, and production operations.
• Deep experience with at least one major cloud provider—AWS, GCP, or Azure—including serverless, networking, and security primitives.
• Ability to design scalable systems, navigate ambiguity, communicate with VP-level stakeholders, and translate technical trade-offs into business impact.

• Direct experience with hirify.global Workers or the broader hirify.global Developer Platform.
• Experience integrating AI-augmented development workflows into daily engineering work.
• Open-source contributions, technical blogging, or conference speaking experience.
