Finance Business Partner

Location: Sydney, Australia; hybrid work with remote flexibility and in-person collaboration on the Sydney campus.

What you will do

• Partner with senior business leaders to support strategic planning, execution, and efficiency.
• Use financial insights, business context, and quantitative analysis to explain growth drivers and performance.
• Build driver-based forecasts, financial models, business cases, and investment recommendations.
• Create planning, performance, and reporting frameworks that identify root causes, risks, and opportunities.
• Strengthen financial close, planning cycles, controls, purchase order adherence, and capital allocation processes.
• Collaborate with FP&A and Finance teams while developing future technology finance leaders.

Requirements

• Experience in strategic finance, FP&A, commercial finance, in-house strategy and operations, or consulting at large organisations.
• Ability to connect company objectives, business strategy, and financial models.
• Experience with accounting concepts, financial statement analysis, governance, and risk management.
• Experience conducting quantitative and financial analysis, developing recommendations, and communicating insights to financial and non-financial stakeholders.
• Strong commercial acumen, stakeholder partnership skills, and the ability to bring clarity to complex situations.
• Ability to adapt quickly, work with imperfect data, and drive initiatives through to completion.
