Solution Architect - Manufacturing Systems (Manufacturing)

Location: Remote from Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Georgia, or Ohio, United States; travel to hirify.global North American sites is required at 40–50%.

What you will do

• Advise Manufacturing, Quality, Warehousing, Logistics, and Automation leaders and translate business objectives into technology roadmaps.
• Lead architecture and design for manufacturing applications, integrations, and enterprise technology solutions.
• Provide technical leadership for MES, Quality Management Systems, material handling automation, industrial data historians, shop floor data collection, equipment integrations, and operational reporting.
• Manage assigned Solution Architects and their teams, aligning cross-domain processes, data models, integration points, and development goals.
• Support projects from planning and design through implementation, deployment, operational support, and transition to production.
• Establish architecture governance, manage vendors and technical deliverables, and improve reliability, availability, performance, business continuity, and disaster recovery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience implementing enterprise manufacturing solutions and direct experience working with manufacturing operations.
• Strong solution architecture and systems integration experience.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional leadership skills.
• Remote work must be based in Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Georgia, or Ohio, with 40–50% travel across North American sites.

Nice to have

• Experience with MES, data historians, Quality Management Systems, industrial automation, SAP integration, and Operational Technology.
• Experience with Azure or other cloud platforms, integration capabilities, and enterprise architecture frameworks.
