SAP Architect - Logistics (SAP)

Location: Hybrid work environment in Hook, UK or Speke, UK; travel to sites and affiliates is required at 10–20%.

What you will do

• Own the SAP architecture for global logistics processes, including warehouse inbound and outbound management, inventory, transportation, returns, reverse logistics, and logistics service provider integrations.
• Partner with business stakeholders, implementation partners, and AMS providers to deliver business outcomes and maintain optimal SAP functionality.
• Design, document, configure, enhance, and support SAP solutions across implementations and ongoing operations.
• Train key users, support usability testing before go-live, and provide post-go-live production support.
• Ensure adherence to global SAP design and architecture standards and participate in architecture review boards.
• Monitor regional warehousing and transportation compliance and travel to sites or affiliates to support implementations and system adoption.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience designing and configuring logistics processes.
• Proven expertise in Transportation Management, including BN4L/LBN, Warehouse Management, Inventory Management, and GTS.
• Experience integrating SAP with MFG, QM, MM, 3PL warehouses, S/4 systems, and logistics service providers.
• Experience with requirements specifications, solution evaluation, validation, deployment, configuration, and development.
• Strong analytical, communication, prioritization, and business requirements translation skills.

Nice to have

• Understanding of life sciences or pharmaceutical business processes.
• Knowledge of SOX and GxP compliance.
• Knowledge of SAP MM and GBT.
