Panel Department Lead (Manufacturing)

Location: Fontana, California, USA; onsite production-floor role

Salary: $21.68–$29.81 USD per hour

What you will do

• Lead assigned manufacturing employees and oversee panel production work.
• Plan assignments, delegate tasks according to skills and experience, and support onboarding and training.
• Assist with technical issues, inspect completed work, and complete assemblies, sub-assemblies, and wiring when needed.
• Track labor time, materials, resources, work orders, missing parts, and estimated completion dates.
• Coordinate with department leads, continuity testing, production management, and internal PM, QA, EE, and ME teams to meet project deadlines.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and coordinate with second shift when required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least four years of experience in manufacturing, electrical wiring, or a related field.
• Previous experience leading a team of employees.
• Ability to read and interpret written directions, blueprints, and engineering diagrams.
• Analytical, problem-solving, prioritization, delegation, attention-to-detail, and basic math skills.
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, perform repetitive tasks, lift or move up to 35 pounds, and wear required PPE on the production floor.
