Location: Durham, North Carolina, United States; 12-hour night shift.

Salary: $56,160–$79,705 per year; national pay range of $27.00–$38.32 per hour.

What you will do

• Install, modify, repair, and maintain electrical lines, circuits, systems, fixtures, controls, and equipment.
• Install and repair electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical and electronic components in machinery.
• Troubleshoot and test electrical systems, test equipment, and sophisticated circuitry.
• Design circuit layouts and wire new test setups, including strain gauge circuits and recording instruments.
• Verify electrical test conditions and diagnose malfunctions during test programs.

Requirements

• Thorough knowledge of construction, installation, operation, and troubleshooting of complex circuitry and controls.
• Knowledge of safety systems with intricate interlocks and warning systems.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and electrical test equipment.
• Knowledge of electronic components including resistors, capacitors, and transistors.
• Relevant military experience may include Air Force 3E0X1, Navy CE, Marine 1143, Army 12R, or Coast Guard AET.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment background check and drug screen is required.
