Chief of Staff (AI)

Location: Hybrid in San Francisco, California, with in-office days Tuesday through Thursday and remote flexibility on Monday and Friday

Salary: $170,000–$200,000 annually, plus bonus plan and equity packages

What you will do

• Drive execution on company priorities by defining plans, milestones, owners, dependencies, risks, and next steps.
• Build and operate the company’s operating cadence, including leadership meetings, company planning, goal-setting, and KPI reporting.
• Design scalable processes for recurring operational problems and improve organizational efficiency.
• Lead high-impact cross-functional special projects across operational, compliance, and organizational areas.
• Deploy AI effectively across business operations while accounting for its strengths and limitations.
• Prepare executive leadership for key decisions by gathering context and structuring options.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of professional experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 5–7 years of experience with an MBA.
• Experience in a B2B SaaS environment, ideally within a startup or high-growth company.
• Proven ability to turn ambiguous problems into executable plans and measurable outcomes.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects with functional leaders and executives.
• Exceptional organization, operational discipline, business judgment, and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to influence outcomes without formal authority.
