Senior Security Engineer (Cloud Security)

What you will do

• Lead complex infrastructure security initiatives across AWS cloud environments and CI/CD pipelines.
• Design and operate cloud governance, access management, policy enforcement, logging, monitoring, data protection, and account lifecycle controls.
• Build secure-by-default solutions with infrastructure as code, policy as code, automation, and secure CI/CD practices.
• Define security baselines for cloud accounts, operating systems, containers, AMIs, Kubernetes, networks, and supporting infrastructure.
• Secure software supply chains, including dependencies, artifacts, registries, third-party actions, secrets, and runner environments.
• Contribute to AI security initiatives involving LLMs, AI agents, MCP integrations, prompt-injection defenses, data protection, guardrails, and security automation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in security engineering, cloud security, infrastructure security, DevSecOps, or equivalent practical experience.
• Hands-on experience designing and operating secure AWS environments; GCP experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or comparable infrastructure-as-code technologies.
• Experience building and securing CI/CD pipelines, preferably with GitHub Actions, including secrets, artifacts, and runner security.
• Experience with Python, Go, or another programming language, plus cloud networking, containers, Kubernetes, identity governance, supply-chain security, threat modeling, and incident response.
• Ability to own ambiguous, cross-functional work and communicate security risks and trade-offs to technical and non-technical audiences.

Nice to have

• Deep knowledge of AI-security risks and controls involving LLMs, AI agents, MCP, AI gateways, prompt injection, and sensitive-data leakage.
• Familiarity with NIST AI RMF, OWASP LLM Top 10, MITRE ATLAS, or ISO/IEC 42001.
• AWS Security Specialty, CISSP, GIAC, or equivalent practical expertise.
