Senior Cloud Solutions Engineer (Azure)

Location: Remote Kentucky, United States. Occasional travel to hirify.global offices for training or meetings may be required.

Salary: $106,900–$147,000 per year, plus eligibility for a bonus incentive plan.

What you will do

• Design, build, modernize, deploy, and support cloud-native application solutions on the Azure Cloud 3.0 platform.
• Translate business and application requirements into scalable solutions using approved cloud design patterns and deployment models.
• Guide development teams through onboarding prerequisites, architecture documentation, dependency analysis, sizing, disaster recovery, and high-availability planning.
• Enable Argo onboarding and validate CI/CD pipelines for build, testing, deployment, and release processes.
• Prepare application teams for production release readiness, security alignment, architecture reviews, and required certifications.
• Provide troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, technical guidance, and cross-functional support across application and cloud platform layers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, solution engineering, cloud platform operations, or application modernization.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience designing, building, and supporting solutions in Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with cloud-native architecture, Azure Kubernetes Service or similar Kubernetes platforms, CI/CD, DevOps, and infrastructure as code.
• Knowledge of cloud security, identity and access management, enterprise governance, networking, database connectivity, high availability, and disaster recovery.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and collaboration skills across application, architecture, security, and platform teams.

Nice to have

• Experience in a large regulated enterprise, preferably healthcare or another highly governed industry.
• Familiarity with hirify.global Cloud 3.0 standards, Argo onboarding, GitOps, architecture reviews, and enterprise governance processes.
• Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or DevOps Engineer Expert certification.
• Experience with cloud cost optimization, capacity planning, database failover, disaster recovery tiering, and technical mentoring.
