TL;DR

Location: Redmond, Washington, US; must live within the designated radius of the job site

What you will do
- Monitor, maintain, inspect, and repair commercial HVAC/R, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, structural, fire, life-safety, and control systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs to extend equipment life and maintain reliable building operations.
- Maintain energy management programs and improve the efficient operation of building systems.
- Review HVAC, plumbing, fire alarm, and related system performance against design and environmental requirements.
- Follow safety procedures, applicable codes, regulations, and hazardous-material handling requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and training to coworkers and coordinate assigned work when needed.
Requirements
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least five years of building engineering or related experience focused on HVAC/R, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- EPA certification required.
- Ability to work on call every two weeks and meet physical requirements, including climbing, standing, walking, and lifting 50 pounds or more.
- Strong organizational, analytical, safety, and Microsoft Office skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with Building Management Systems or Building Automation Systems.
- Additional electrical, mechanical, HVAC, refrigeration, process controls, plumbing, carpentry, or engine repair certifications.
