Senior Business Systems Analyst (AI Enablement)

Salary: $78,500–$141,000 annual base pay

What you will do

• Partner with Development Sciences, dossier management, Regulatory Affairs, IT, data, digital, and AI engineering teams.
• Identify and prioritize AI-enabled opportunities for automation, reporting, analytics, generative AI, and agentic AI.
• Elicit, analyze, document, and manage business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
• Translate business needs into user stories, process flows, business requirements documents, and acceptance criteria.
• Support planning, backlog refinement, testing, release planning, issue management, risk identification, and adoption activities.
• Help ensure AI solutions meet business expectations, privacy requirements, quality standards, governance policies, and responsible AI practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Life Sciences, or a related discipline with 5 years of experience, or a master’s degree with 4 years of experience.
• Experience in business systems analysis, consulting, product ownership, project delivery, technology consulting, or a related discipline.
• Experience gathering and documenting requirements, facilitating stakeholder discussions, and translating business needs into technology solutions.
• Experience working with GxP or regulated environments and enterprise software delivery initiatives.
• Practical knowledge of generative AI, LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, AI copilots, agentic AI, machine learning fundamentals, AI governance, privacy, security, and implementation risks.
• Strong analytical, communication, relationship management, Agile, and software development lifecycle knowledge.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI, analytics, digital transformation, or automation initiatives.
• Pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, manufacturing, or other regulated-industry experience.
• Familiarity with cloud-based AI platforms and enterprise AI services.
• Experience supporting change management and technology adoption.
