Configuration Developer - Analyst (AI)

Location: Hybrid role based in the greater Denver/Colorado Springs area or the Salt Lake City, Utah office; office work is required Monday–Thursday, with remote work on Friday.

Salary: $75,000–$90,000 per year

What you will do

• Configure and maintain business rules, Role Codes, Review Queues, Needs Determination, mapping documents, and administrative mappings in FireLight®.
• Support the SDLC from requirements understanding through configuration, testing, and deployment.
• Perform unit and integration testing to validate accuracy, completeness, compliance, and business requirements.
• Support customer deployments and provide Tier 2 production support by troubleshooting configuration issues and resolving Jira tickets.
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to resolve defects, improve configurations, and enhance platform performance.
• Use AI tools to accelerate rule creation, scenario testing, and issue investigation while following simple, modular, and reusable configuration practices.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in a technical or configuration-focused role.
• Strong proficiency in XML creation, editing, and troubleshooting, with an understanding of structured business logic.
• Solid understanding of the SDLC in a SaaS environment.
• Working knowledge of Jira, OpenAir, Notepad++, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Foundational knowledge of financial services, including insurance, annuities, life insurance processes, and compliance requirements.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, prioritization, and independent working skills.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with FireLight® platform components and configuration concepts.
• Exposure to integrations with Salesforce, Redtail, or Yellow Pages.
• Willingness to adopt AI-enabled tools and other technologies.
