Production Supervisor (Chemical Manufacturing)

Location: Swing shift, 2:00 p.m.–10:30 p.m.; nearest major markets are San Francisco and Oakland.

Salary: $29.89–$44.83 per hour, plus performance-related bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead production technicians and chemical operators during the swing shift, assigning and prioritizing daily work.
• Enforce EHS and internal safety requirements, lead safety meetings, and respond to emergency incidents.
• Monitor Distributed Control Systems, workflow, productivity, equipment performance, and operating procedures.
• Troubleshoot process, equipment, and operational issues in coordination with maintenance, technicians, and laboratory personnel.
• Support Synthesis and Paste production activities and maintain communication between shifts.
• Maintain batch records, operational logs, production data, training coordination, and performance feedback.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; an associate or bachelor's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or business is preferred.
• 5–8 years of experience in a laboratory, chemical manufacturing, pharmaceutical, or related production environment.
• Ability to work from 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
• Leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience in manufacturing, laboratory, or production operations.
• Ability to learn Synthesis and Paste processes and provide hands-on support to technicians.
• Strong communication, organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving skills with a commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.

Nice to have

• Previous experience with Synthesis and/or Paste operations.
• Experience training, mentoring, or supervising technical personnel.
