Production Supervisor - Fresh 2nd Shift

Location: Del Rey, California, USA; full-time onsite production role

Salary: $72,000–$85,000 per year, plus bonus potential of up to 5%

What you will do

• Direct and coordinate daily Fresh production activities in line with schedules and business priorities.
• Monitor production flow, staffing, line readiness, output, downtime, waste, labor efficiency, and OEE.
• Ensure packaging and grading operations meet product quality, food safety, customer, and company standards.
• Review production reports, work orders, charts, and KPI data; report performance and escalate operational issues.
• Coach leads and production employees on safety, quality, productivity, standard work, and accountability.
• Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Sanitation, Warehouse, and Planning teams to resolve issues and support continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of progressively responsible production experience, preferably in manufacturing, food production, fresh produce, or packaging.
• Prior supervisory or lead experience with the ability to direct teams, coach employees, and manage daily execution.
• Knowledge of production scheduling, labor utilization, line efficiency, quality control, waste reduction, OEE, and standard work processes.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Oracle or similar production systems; experience with HRIS platforms such as UKG is required.
• Ability to analyze performance data, identify root causes, manage priorities, resolve conflicts, and communicate corrective actions.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills are preferred based on business needs.

• Experience in lean manufacturing and fresh-produce operations.
• Experience using AI-powered tools and analytics for forecasting, workflow optimization, quality control, or operational efficiency.
