Production Supervisor In-Training (Manufacturing)

Location: Le Sueur, Minnesota, United States; onsite manufacturing work

Salary: $27.00–$36.75 per hour, with possible 15% overnight shift differential

What you will do

• Learn and support daily production activities for the Soft Line team.
• Shadow leadership in coaching employees, assigning work, communicating expectations, and providing performance feedback.
• Practice leading shift handoffs, maintaining operational records, and tracking attendance, schedules, hours, and performance.
• Support continuous improvement projects, line efficiency, inventory control, and production duties as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and SOPs, including Lockout/Tagout and chemical handling requirements.
• Maintain clean, safe, and orderly work areas and complete required First Aid, CPR, and AED training.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of manufacturing experience and proven leadership ability.
• Ability to read and write in English for required documentation.
• Experience with Oracle, Tableau, metric-based software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to become certified in forklift and overhead crane operation, Lockout/Tagout, and chemical handling.
• Critical thinking, troubleshooting, basic math, mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and effective communication.
• Ability to work onsite, outdoors in all weather conditions, at varying heights, and on your feet for shifts of up to 12 hours; lift up to 60 lb and push or pull 100 lb.
