Specialist Sr., Inventory and Supply Planning (Maritime)

Location: Miami, Florida, United States. In-office work is required at a designated South Florida Carnival office Monday through Thursday; employees may work from home on Fridays.

What you will do

• Own the supply response for assigned planning segments by converting demand signals, inventory policies, lead times, sourcing conditions, and vessel schedules into feasible, time-phased supply actions.
• Evaluate planning recommendations and exceptions, coordinating mitigation actions such as expediting, substitution, transfers, deferrals, allocation, and rebalancing.
• Make replenishment, allocation, transfer, and inventory deployment decisions while escalating strategic trade-offs to leadership.
• Analyze material, supplier, capacity, timing, and data constraints and recommend actions that balance operational risk, inventory investment, working capital, and fleet readiness.
• Represent Supply Planning in S&OP, S&OE, and other planning forums by presenting scenarios, risks, impacts, trade-offs, and recommended actions.
• Improve planning governance, standardized work, data quality, enterprise planning systems, analytics, automation, and decision-support capabilities while coaching planners and business partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, Business, or a related quantitative discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in Supply Planning, Materials Planning, Replenishment Planning, or integrated Demand and Supply Planning within a complex, multi-site, global, or asset-intensive environment.
• Advanced knowledge of MRP/DRP, replenishment strategy, supply balancing, constraint management, allocation, and S&OP/S&OE.
• Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting large datasets, evaluating supply scenarios, identifying material risks, and developing data-driven recommendations.
• Working knowledge of lead-time variability, sourcing rules, supplier constraints, bills of material, inventory policies, and planning master data.
• Proficiency with advanced planning or enterprise supply chain platforms, Excel, data modeling, dashboards, and reporting.

Nice to have

• APICS CPIM, CSCP, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, or equivalent certification.
• Experience with Kinaxis or another advanced planning system.
• Experience with automation, advanced analytics, or AI-enabled decision support.
• Maritime, vessel-based, technical-spares, hospitality, manufacturing, or other asset-intensive supply chain experience.
• Experience coaching planners or leading continuous improvement, standardized work, or planning transformation initiatives.
