Offshore Supply Specialist (Supply Chain)

Location: Onsite in Blacksburg, Virginia, United States

Salary: $50,000–$70,000 annually

What you will do

• Process requisitions for international contract manufacturers, including cost analysis, approvals, and purchase order generation.
• Identify, prioritize, and communicate production requirements at international sites supporting the Blacksburg facility.
• Partner with international sites and Purchasing to identify inventory shortages and prevent production gaps.
• Coordinate updates and requirements between the Blacksburg site and international Sales, Program Management, Production, and Supply Chain teams.
• Resolve problem invoices, maintain purchasing records, and follow purchasing policies and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare weekly and monthly production reports for management and support other operational areas as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of coordinating experience, or an associate’s degree with 5 years of coordinating experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and mathematical analysis.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to analyze situations, solve problems efficiently, and work with minimal supervision.
• Strong oral and written communication skills and professional composure in challenging situations.
• Ability to work onsite in Blacksburg, Virginia; the role involves access to U.S. export-controlled information.
