VP, Architecture (AI ASIC)

Location: Bay Area, primarily onsite

Salary: $300,000–$350,000 annually, plus a substantial sign-on bonus and early-stage equity.

hirify.global is recruiting for an MIT spinout developing photonic fabric technology and interconnects that enable heterogeneous hardware to access disaggregated memory.

What you will do

• Lead the architecture of complex ASICs for photonic fabric and data movement systems.
• Guide the design of memory subsystems, scale-up networking, and chip-to-chip connection architecture.
• Bridge hardware and software engineering teams throughout system development.
• Remain hands-on in architectural design while guiding engineers and architects.
• Build and manage a growing architecture team.

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience architecting complex silicon.
• Experience in data movement, machine learning systems, or networking is preferred.
• Ability to work primarily onsite in the Bay Area.
• Interest in staying close to architecture and design within a small, early-stage team.
