Senior UX Researcher (Automotive)

Location: Remote, but must be located in the Chicago area; onsite interviews may be required. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.

Salary: $118,600–$148,250 base salary annually, with potential bonus and/or equity eligibility.

What you will do

• Lead strategic user research initiatives from objective definition and methodology design through execution.
• Own high-impact research projects and deliver actionable insights that inform product strategy and design decisions.
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative studies, including usability testing, generative research, surveys, and behavioral analysis.
• Partner with product managers, designers, engineers, and other stakeholders throughout product development.
• Guide teams on research methodologies, data analysis, and communicating findings.
• Strengthen the research practice and advocate for customer-centered decision-making across Product.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in human-computer interaction, psychology, anthropology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in UX research or a related field, including leadership of complex research projects.
• Experience working in SaaS organizations.
• Expertise in mixed-methods research and the ability to select appropriate qualitative and quantitative methods.
• Experience managing the full research lifecycle, from scoping and study design through synthesis and driving action.
• Must be located in the Chicago area and authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
