Paralegal (AI)

Salary: $34.57–$49.68 per hour, plus potential performance-based bonus and restricted stock unit awards.

What you will do

• Support attorneys on compliance matters related to hirify.global products and regulated services, including payroll, benefits brokerage, and insurance agency operations.
• Maintain regulatory filings, licensing materials, reporting calendars, audit records, compliance certifications, and related documentation.
• Conduct legal and regulatory research, summarize findings, track developments, and maintain issue logs.
• Support responsible use of AI-enabled legal, workflow, and knowledge-management tools, including identifying automation opportunities.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and other business teams to gather information and complete compliance deliverables.
• Maintain policies, procedures, playbooks, templates, knowledge repositories, and recurring compliance processes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a paralegal, legal operations professional, compliance analyst, or in a similar legal, regulatory, or compliance role.
• Strong AI literacy and technology skills, including the ability to learn and use AI-enabled legal and compliance tools.
• Experience critically reviewing outputs, protecting confidential information, and supporting responsible AI-enabled workflows.
• Ability to conduct legal or regulatory research, summarize requirements, track developments, and maintain organized records.
• Strong attention to detail, judgment, organization, communication, follow-through, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with attorneys and business stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience in software, SaaS, technology, fintech, payroll, HR technology, benefits, insurance, or another regulated product company.
• Experience supporting product-facing legal teams or working with Product, Engineering, Security, Privacy, or Compliance Operations.
• Familiarity with regulatory tracking, licensing, government reporting, audits, policy management, legal technology, or matter management systems.
• Interest in agentic AI tools, legal operations, knowledge management, and process improvement.
