Location: Hybrid position located at ’s offices in Rosemont, Illinois or Omaha, Nebraska. US Work Authorization required; no visa sponsorship provided.
Salary: $32 - $44/hr

What you will do
- Provide legal and administrative support for insurance operations, focusing on regulatory, compliance, and corporate matters.
- Prepare and manage regulatory filings, including state submissions and insurance holding company documentation.
- Conduct factual and legal research and monitor legislative developments impacting the P&C insurance industry.
- Maintain electronic filing systems and legal records to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
- Serve as a liaison between the Legal Department and internal partners in Underwriting, Finance, Tax, and Treasury.
- Coordinate the execution of legal documents, including signatures and notarizations.
Requirements
- Degree in paralegal studies, ABA-approved certification, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least five years of in-house paralegal or regulatory/compliance experience.
- Must be based in or able to work from Rosemont, IL or Omaha, NE in a hybrid capacity.
- Valid US Work Authorization (no visa sponsorship available).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
Nice to have
- Notary Public designation.
- Experience with document management systems or legal operations tools.
- Prior experience in insurance, regulatory, compliance, or financial services.
