Legal Operations Manager

Location: London-based with office attendance typically expected three days a week; hybrid working is available

What you will do

• Own legal operations across contract lifecycle management, legal intake, knowledge management, reporting, and outside counsel spend tracking.
• Partner with Sales, Finance, InfoSec, Procurement, RevOps, and People teams to streamline deal-desk, approvals, and internal legal workflows.
• Manage and improve Ironclad workflows, metadata, archiving, approvals, signatory processes, adoption, and user training.
• Build templates, playbooks, self-service legal resources, dashboards, KPIs, and executive-level reporting.
• Coordinate cross-functional legal projects, including M&A diligence, trademark portfolio work, regulatory readiness, and company secretarial administration.
• Provide operational and reporting support to the General Counsel and the wider Legal Affairs function.

Requirements

• At least five years of experience in legal operations, contracts operations, compliance operations, legal project management, or a closely related function.
• Hands-on experience with Ironclad or a comparable enterprise contract lifecycle management platform such as Juro, LinkSquares, Icertis, Agiloft, or Leah.
• Experience delivering legal or cross-functional projects independently, including timelines, risks, stakeholders, and outcomes.
• Ability to build dashboards, work with KPI frameworks, and translate metrics into actionable reporting.
• Strong organisation, systems thinking, commercial judgment, initiative, and comfort working in ambiguity.
• Ability to work from London and attend the office typically three days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience with outside counsel spend tracking, panel management, or legal project management.
• Experience as the first or only legal operations hire or in the early build-out of a legal operations function.
