Maintenance Technician

Location: Greenfield, Indiana, United States; onsite manufacturing environment

Salary: $22.00–$28.00 per hour

What you will do

• Monitor, inspect, maintain, and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic production and support equipment.
• Manage preventive maintenance schedules, complete work orders, and maintain accurate inspection and repair records.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and system failures, performing corrective maintenance and timely repairs.
• Interpret engineering drawings and schematics in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Maintain mobile equipment such as loaders, trucks, and rail equipment, along with water systems, dust collectors, and line-changeover equipment.
• Maintain clean, safe, and operational facilities while managing spare parts and participating in safety activities.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of manufacturing maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Ability to use measuring equipment, hand and power tools, diagnostic equipment, basic computer applications, and basic math.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to speak and read English sufficiently for workplace communication, safety signs, official inquiries, and maintenance records.
