Manager, Loan Operations (Banking)

Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States; hybrid work model with time split between the office and home

Salary: $85,900–$145,900 USD annual base pay

What you will do

• Set periodic goals, organize work, establish short-term priorities, and ensure timely and accurate completion of Loan Operations activities.
• Establish and monitor effective operational processes with a focus on quality control.
• Manage performance and career development, support staffing and disciplinary decisions, and provide hands-on training.
• Lead large-scale, cross-functional, and technically difficult activities.
• Execute operational and strategic initiatives within the business function and interact with committees and management.
• Support budget management and the implementation of functional programs.

Requirements

• College or university degree or relevant proven work experience.
• In-depth banking knowledge.
• Strong oral and written communication, analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Experience with risk management and mitigation.
• Excellent influencing and negotiation skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employment-based visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Related industry qualification, such as ACCA.
