Supervisor, Production-Assembly & Test (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Beaverton, Oregon, United States; onsite in a microelectronic precision manufacturing cleanroom. Regular schedule: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and every other Saturday from 5:00pm to 5:30am. The role supports a 24/7 operation and may require extended hours, weekend and holiday work, and after-hours emergency calls.

Salary: $72,100–$94,605 per year, plus a 15% night-shift differential.

What you will do

• Lead night-shift Probes Test and Assembly operations, owning safety, quality, delivery, throughput, and work-in-process management.
• Monitor output, dispatch resources, balance the production line, manage high-priority lots, and adjust staffing and priorities throughout the shift.
• Act as the night-shift safety champion and Emergency Response Team member; investigate, contain, document, and escalate safety incidents.
• Ensure adherence to work instructions, change orders, discrepant-material procedures, training requirements, and quality controls.
• Partner with engineering, planning, quality, and downstream customers to resolve production roadblocks, implement processes, and drive continuous improvement.
• Supervise hourly employees, including assignments, timekeeping, employee relations, coaching, cross-training, hiring, performance reviews, and succession planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field with at least 3 years of related experience; equivalent experience may substitute for the degree.
• Experience in electronics manufacturing and in a leadership or management role with direct reports.
• Experience using SQL and/or Access databases to extract, manipulate, and analyze operational metrics.
• Knowledge of ERP and MRP systems; experience with QAD is preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and strong written, oral, interpersonal, organizational, and cross-functional communication skills.
• Ability to work onsite in a microelectronic precision manufacturing cleanroom and support a 24/7 operation, including extended hours, weekends, holidays, and emergency calls.
