Supervisor, Production- Assembly & Test (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Beaverton, Oregon; onsite in a microelectronic precision manufacturing cleanroom environment. Regular hours are swing shift, with flexibility required for 24/7 operations, extended hours, weekend and holiday work, and after-hours emergency calls.

Salary: $72,100–$94,605 per year, plus a 10% swing-shift differential.

What you will do

• Lead Probes Test and Assembly operations, managing safety, delivery, quality, throughput, and manufacturing WIP.
• Monitor shift output, dispatch resources, balance the production line, and adjust staffing and priorities throughout the shift.
• Manage high-priority lots and communicate production status with planning, engineering, quality, internal customers, and downstream stakeholders.
• Resolve production roadblocks with engineering teams, implement new processes, and drive continuous improvement projects.
• Act as the night-shift safety champion and Emergency Response Team member, leading incident response, audits, and corrective actions.
• Supervise hourly employees, including assignments, timekeeping, training, coaching, performance management, hiring, onboarding, and succession planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field and at least 3 years of related experience; equivalent experience may substitute for the degree.
• Experience in an electronics manufacturing environment and in a management or leadership role with direct reports.
• Experience using SQL and/or Access databases to extract, manipulate, and analyze metrics data.
• Knowledge of ERP and MRP systems; QAD experience is preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and strong written, oral, interpersonal, organizational, and cross-functional communication skills.
• Ability to work onsite in a microelectronic precision manufacturing cleanroom and support a 24/7 operation, including swing shifts, extended hours, weekends, holidays, and emergency calls.
