Product Owner (Med Tech)

Location: Kitchener, Ontario, Canada; hybrid work with 3 days in the office

Salary: USD 60–80 per hour

What you will do

• Define user stories, tasks, scope, and requirements from the early product phases.
• Manage and prioritize the agile team backlog.
• Establish the agile team in collaboration with stream managers and the line organization.
• Coordinate with project management, product management, business partners, subject-matter experts, testing, and verification teams.
• Refine unclear work packages and coordinate stakeholders across the organization.
• Support the development and growth of the med-tech stream using modern software development technologies and tools.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience managing product-based project planning.
• Knowledge of med-tech regulations and clinical workflows.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum program management tools and methodologies.
• Experience with Jira, MS Project, or similar tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Leadership skills and prior customer-facing experience.
