VP, Product Operations (Healthcare Technology)

Location: Canada — remote, or Mississauga, Ontario — hybrid. Remote employees must travel to the Mississauga and/or Salt Lake City offices for onboarding, team events, and semi-annual or annual meetings. Hybrid employees must reside within commuting distance of the specified office and attend recurring in-office events.

What you will do

• Lead annual, quarterly, and ongoing portfolio planning across Product and Engineering.
• Facilitate portfolio reviews, prioritization discussions, and resource trade-off decisions across cross-functional teams.
• Establish governance frameworks, planning cadences, operating forums, and execution standards.
• Develop portfolio reporting, operational metrics, dashboards, and executive-level insights.
• Identify execution risks, dependencies, and improvement opportunities while supporting strategic planning and business reviews.
• Lead, coach, and develop Product Operations leaders and team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in Product Operations, Portfolio Management, PMO, Product Management, Strategy, or related business operations.
• Experience leading planning, governance, portfolio management, and operational processes across large cross-functional teams.
• Ability to influence senior leaders and align Product, Engineering, Finance, Strategy, and other business functions.
• Strong analytical, strategic, operational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience leading managers and professional teams, including talent development and performance management.

Nice to have

• MBA or another advanced degree in Business, Technology, or a related field.
• Experience in SaaS, healthcare technology, or another technology-driven environment.
• Experience improving Product Operations, portfolio management, governance, or planning practices during organizational growth and change.
