Product Owner, Services (Wealth Management)

Location: Madrid or Toronto; hybrid work with 3 days in the office. Occasional travel to client offices may be required.

What you will do

• Define and communicate requirements and business value with clients, solution engineers, and internal stakeholders.
• Document requirements in Product Requirements Documents and Statements of Work, supporting the sale and scoping of service-based engagements.
• Maintain and prioritize a backlog of ready user stories for Sprint Planning.
• Accept completed user stories against acceptance criteria and the Definition of Done.
• Contribute to product roadmaps, release planning, PI planning, and continuous product improvement.
• Represent the customer voice, coordinate dependencies, communicate progress, and maintain customer relationships.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience as a Product Owner in an Agile software development environment.
• At least 2 years of experience in wealth management.
• Understanding of Agile product management principles and Scrum.
• Working knowledge of Jira and Confluence or similar tools, SQL, and APIs.
• Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or Figma Make to create product artifacts.
• Professional proficiency in English and Spanish, plus a business or technical degree and CSPO certification or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Product Owner experience in a professional services organization delivering software solutions for clients.
• Experience in WealthTech, FinTech, or enterprise software.
• Knowledge of advisory, discretionary, and other wealth management services.
• Experience adapting quickly to new business domains or personal experience trading stocks and making investment decisions.
