Product Owner (AI)

Location: Remote from home in Canada; optional office space is available in Warminster, Pennsylvania.

Salary: CAD 75,000–85,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

ProviderSoft is a SaaS platform for early childhood development and intervention agencies, supporting operational workflows across case management, scheduling, billing, regulatory reporting, and back-office operations.

What you will do

• Run client discovery through interviews, Client Services and Sales intake, feedback synthesis, and usage analysis.
• Translate agency and stakeholder needs into detailed functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and interactive mockups.
• Use AI-assisted workflows to produce development-ready specifications and contribute to the evolution of the AI-Directed Development Lifecycle.
• Own and prioritize the product backlog, including client cases, technical debt, maintenance work, and new capabilities.
• Partner with engineering, QA, Client Services, Sales, and leadership to resolve requirement gaps, prepare releases, and communicate changes.
• Perform user acceptance testing, monitor post-release adoption, and support documentation and modernization across legacy and Vue-based functionality.

Requirements

• 3 to 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar delivery-focused product role in B2B SaaS.
• Experience producing structured specifications that developers can implement with minimal clarification.
• Daily working fluency with AI tools such as Claude or Copilot and experience building AI-assisted product workflows.
• Experience with customer discovery, requirements prioritization, product analytics, and complex workflow-driven or legacy-rich platforms.
• Comfort with Figma or Balsamiq, design systems, user research, accessibility, and UI/UX quality.
• Experience in healthcare, education, regulated-industry SaaS, enterprise operational software, or legacy modernization is required as part of the broader capability profile.

Nice to have

• Experience leading or championing AI-Directed development practices across a product or engineering team.
• Experience writing specifications spanning legacy and modernized architecture.
