TL;DR
Product Owner (Fintech): Defining, prioritizing, and delivering client-sponsored solutions for enterprise wealth management platforms with an accent on product requirements, Agile backlogs, and customer value. Focus on leading PI planning, accepting user stories, coordinating cross-functional stakeholders, and translating client needs into software capabilities.
Location: Remote from Mexico; candidates must currently reside in Mexico or the surrounding metropolitan area.

What you will do
- Define and communicate requirements and business value with clients, solution engineers, and internal stakeholders.
- Create Product Requirements Documents, Statements of Work, user stories, acceptance criteria, and release documentation.
- Maintain and prioritize a ready product backlog for Sprint Planning and accept completed user stories against the Definition of Done.
- Contribute to product roadmaps, product increments, release objectives, and PI planning activities.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, software engineers, architects, and customers.
- Represent the customer voice, prioritize defects and enhancements, and maintain productive client relationships.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience as a Product Owner in an Agile software development environment.
- Understanding of Agile product management and Scrum, with experience using Jira, Confluence, or similar tools.
- Working knowledge of SQL and APIs.
- Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or Figma Make to create product artifacts.
- Business or technical degree and CSPO certification or equivalent experience.
- Professional fluency in English and Spanish, written and spoken, is required.
Nice to have
- Product Owner experience in a professional services organization delivering software solutions for clients.
- Experience in WealthTech, FinTech, or enterprise software.
- Knowledge of wealth management services or personal investment experience.
- Experience adapting quickly to new business domains.
